Margaret Romano
I love supporting birthing people and families during this powerful time of welcoming their child! I see my role as a Doula as someone who wears many different hats. I value conversations around the emotional and psychological sides of labor, birth, and early parenting. I also enjoy helping people understand their choices around these big decisions. I think of my role in these conversations and experiences as a guide, coach, educator, caregiver, and most of all, witness.
I enjoy helping families connect with themselves, each other, and their child. I love the magic that happens as I witness people feeling a sense of that connection. It’s a place of true authenticity and presence. I am so humbled to be apart of such incredible moments in people’s lives.
I have been involved in birth work for 9 years. I have 3 children ages 13, 11 and 5. They are my greatest teachers. They brought me to this work. When I am not Doulaing, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, yoga, coaching soccer, and getting lost in the kitchen.
