Kristin Enge

She/Her

Hey there, my name is Kristin Enge.

Like most folks, I wear many hats. I am a birth & postpartum doula, prenatal yoga teacher, childbirth educator, and Certified Lactation Counselor. I am always looking for ways to connect and integrate each of those parts and bring that into how I support folks during this time of life changing transition.

I believe birth is transformative, forever changing who we are. It is such a great honor to be present as a new member is born into a family. I'm always saying I have the best job; I have the privilege to support families as they create lifelong memories and bonds.

My approach to this work is to show up with an open mind and lots of options to support you as you navigate all the ifs and maybes of pregnancy, birth, and parenting a new human. I bring many yoga techniques to birth; such as, restorative breath, movement when needed / desired, as well a tender yet supportive voice.

The term “Advocate” is a word that gets used a lot in the birth community. Here’s what it means to me: I will support and promote your interests and wishes. I will provide you with information and help you ask questions to support your decision making process as you advocate for yourself, babe, and/or partner.

My certifications are through Doula Trainings International, Spinning Babies, Blooma, The Healthy Children Project, and 21st Century Yoga on the Mat. I welcome and support all bodies, beliefs, and choices.

When I'm not at work, my partner and I live on a farm with our kids (7 and 5), dog, cats, and calf. Sometimes, I find a little time to do some substitute teaching when life permits.

I look forward to chatting with you!
