Connie Lambeth
She/Her
Welcome! I'm Connie, and I've had the honor of nurturing families as they move through the childbearing year since 2015. As a student midwife, training IBCLC, and full spectrum doula, I believe that good support during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early parenting is individual to the family and their needs/wants. I love working collaboratively with birthing people, partners, and their families, as well as their chosen clinical care team. I don’t believe that there is one “right” way to birth, and offer gentle understanding and unwavering support of all birthing choices.
Before becoming a doula I was a teacher (I’ve taught early childhood to adult learners, and public to Montessori), with a Master’s Degree in Educational Research. As a lifelong learner and experiential educator, I see pregnancy, birth, and parenting as life’s greatest experiential lessons. Although I don’t teach in the classroom anymore, I still use my background as a teacher and researcher to help my doula clients to make informed choices and feel supported while they grow.
In my spare time I enjoy growing veggies in my garden, making music, and biking around the lake loop with my husband and two daughters.
