Lea has been a doula since 2008 and was excited to pass the 100-baby mark this fall - her other roles include professional birth photographer, as well as childbirth instructor and parent group facilitator at Happy Bambino. She believes pregnancy and birth are powerful times in a family's life and that all families deserve respect and the opportunity to have an empowering experience, no matter what sort of birth people plan or end up having.
Lea is mama to a "big kid" (11years old and she can't quite believe that); she's addicted reading novels; and is quite happy to be living right off the bike path. She is a cloth diaper and babywearing wiz; enjoys connecting with families, and loves doing prenatals/teaching.
Lea includes basic birth photography in her doula services; doula clients also have special rates for maternity and newborn photography sessions.
